NB Miata was released in 1977, and it is 2021 right now.
It has already been long time since then, but the slide campulley (cam GEAR) for NB has just been released though quite late now in sale.
NA and NB are like similar because there are many common parts between them, but this campulley is slightly different.

In case of the slide campulley for the early version of NB6 and NB8
The basic structures are almost the same. The difference between them is the pick-up trigger for reacting to the cam position sensor.In short, it is a protrusion for reacting to magnet.
It’s not simply easy to set this trigger on the MARUHA’s pulley for NA.
There is no space for the NA gear to cover its position and height of the trigger (protrusion) preciously.
To set up this trigger, the designing should be completely reviewed. This is the reason why the shape of pulley for NB is totally different.
Regarding required pulse reaction for NB cam GEAR, normal function level is confirmed by oscilloscope.
Weight saving
Because of securing space for this trigger and installing a center-disc to be slide type(valve timing adjustment system), thinning on each part is difficult and eventually it tends to be heavier.
However, compared with the 405.5g of the genuine campuley, MARUHA’s NB campulley is only 309.6g as light weight type.
material
Concerning the materials, the same way as NA pulley, the outer is made of duralumin (A7075), and furthermore the surface is coated with hard anodic oxidation coatings for HV400 hardness.
This method responds friction caused by timing belt.
Scale for valve timing
MARUHA’s campulley has a scale for slide position in black & silver (shades of color) for high visibility and is also designed for exactly same neutral position of the genuine one.
The scale is marked in every 2 degrees of crank angle for making valve timing adjustment easily.

Compatible models
This NB pulley can be used only on the intake side of all NB6 and NB8 (without VVT). Regarding the exhaust side, the conventional NA pulley can be used.
