MARUHA SST:Flywheel lock for Mazda Miata

The flywheel is being fixed at the crankshaft’s tail by 6 bolts. This means that for the removal of the flywheel we have to loosen the bolts.

It is necessary to lock the flywheel itself while we carry out the work.

This time we would like to introduce you the flywheel lock, the SST that makes it possible to fix the flywheel.

We set up the fixing bolt for the transmission when loosening the bolt.
You have to pay attention to its direction. If the direction is not right the SST doesn’t mesh with the flywheel.
When locking the bolt the procedure is the same but the SST’s direction has to be opposite.
