There is the method of showing the whole camshaft pully after cutting the tip of Camshaft Cover for NA6CE and NA8C.
The bare styled camshaft pulley recollecting old Cosworth is enough to create unspeakable racing atmosphere.
Machine enthusiasts absolutely love to the jingle sound from the camshaft pulley.
In case of variable pulley installed, you can change the valve timing easily since the camshaft pulley is uncovered.
(In case of the genuine camshaft cover, you need to take it off for adjusting the pulleys. It is a very tough thing.)
Easy access to camshaft pulleys is good for maintenance.
However, uncovering condition is not so good to protect timing belt and bearings.
The turning of crankshaft is transmitted to the camshaft by the way of timing belt.So to speak, it is a part of engine central system. A big trouble might be happened if the timing belt or the camshaft pulley doesn’t work properly.
So the manufacture needs to cover the part of timing belt perfectly.
In case of Maruha timing cover, after cutting the tip, it easily covers a timing belt with racy atmosphere.
You don’t need to take time to fit the cover because the bolt holes for the genuine timing cover (plastic) are used.
It is easy to fit and remove the cover.
The material is real carbon (It is not dried carbon).
The beautiful appearance is important, but the shape is more important.
The timing belt and the camshaft pulley turn furiously.
While protecting these rotating devices, the clearance with them should be kept surely.
Therefore, with ignoring cost and making the two molds for outside and inside, the high accurate covers are produced.
The inside design is neater than meets the eyes, and the clearance with the inside rotation device is secured.
Furthermore, look at the bolts for fitting.
The carbon cover is fixed by bolts, but the stress of bolts might be the cause for damage.
The broken piece should not be caught in the timing belt.
For avoiding this, the aluminum collar was designed.
Since the aluminum collar contacts the surface of plate at receiving side, the stress of bolts occurs on the collar only, therefore there is no stress on the cover.
In other words, the cover is floated by these collars.
Slight floating causes, so to speak, backlash (looeness).
The backlash in direction of thrust should be eliminated by O-ring softly.
The rubber of O-ring works as cushion.
Sophisticated cover design, no cover stress used by aluminum collar, stability of cover floating used by O-ring, easy attachment, and racy design.

The image shows awesome accurate cutting by machining.
Because of like this taking time and effort for the accurate cutting, the timing belt cover can be equipped properly.
In other words, for attaching this timing belt cover, firstly the camshaft cover should be cut precisely.
Normally cutting could be tried by hand in generally.
The surface is turned to roughness after cutting. We try to make it flat hard by files and sandpapers.
Lastly color painting for decoration should be done.
But the cut surface is still rough.It might be in trouble with gap or interference even if the cover is made.
Therefore, MAUHA’s sophisticated cutting processing is required.
Baking painting for the camshaft cover
Dirt and oil is removed completely by steam after cutting. Then, sandblasting is also carried out additionally.
Steam washing is made again after sandblasting.
Then surface preparation for painting is prepared, and several times of baking painting is done.
Surface preparation including blasting should be done completely for good adherence of paint.
The logo is also baked in the intermediate process.
When completed, the paint surface is shiny, hard, and heat resistant.
The finish is suitable for engine rooms.
